Many of the recipes were favorites from helping my mom can when I was young, and a couple just sounded too good not to try! In all, I canned 16 quarts, 39 pints, 22 half-pints, and five jelly jars. Click on the name below to view the recipes I used:

September Adventures: Canning Marathon
I have always loved canning, but seldom find the time. This holiday weekend, I had an open calendar, so after making a trip to a couple of local farm stands and harvesting the crop from our garden, I set about on a canning marathon!
